Junior Federation League
WaiBOP will again provide a boy’s U-12 federation competition which will include Cambridge. More details are here.
All children will need:
- Cambridge Football Club junior kit.
- Cambridge FC shirt supplied by the club, to be returned at the end of the season – these are for 6th – 14th-grade junior players.
- Cambridge FC shorts – players will need to purchase their own shorts and order them from Sportswear Direct.
Note: The only place to purchase the club shorts is through Sportswear Direct, our club’s preferred apparel supplier.
- Cambridge FC socks.
- Boots and shin pads.
Junior Kickers – parents can order the Junior Kickers training top from Sportswear Direct. Club shorts and socks are optional.
Pre-loved boots (and other gear)
We provide a service at our Junior Shop (open on Saturday mornings during the season) where parents can swap pairs of boots or buy used pairs for $5.
The first round of games for the 2018 season is scheduled for Saturday May 5.
There will be no games over Queen’s Birthday Weekend.
The weekly draw for the 7th – 13th/14th grades will be published on the WaiBOP Football website.
All 4th – 6th-grade players will play at Cambridge Football Junior Grounds every Saturday morning during the season.
7th-grade to 13th-grade play away or at home each week depending on the draw published by Waikato/BOP Football Federation. 7th and 8th-grade will generally play in a more localised cluster, but 9th grade and older will travel throughout the WaiBOP region (depending on the draw) which extends from Huntly to Matamata (including Raglan).
