The sessions are aimed at helping Cambridge’s coaches to improve their coaching skills.
Junior’s co-ordinator Tim Bailey said: “We are planning to visit junior coaches’ training sessions with Ricki early next term.
“This visit is to assess where we are at as a club and formulate an overall coaching strategy that we can use to assist and develop our coaches further.
“We will be working with coaches over the next term to develop this strategy.”
Herbert, who is Cambridge FC’s technical director, holds coach education sessions at the senior clubrooms every third Monday of the month, between 6pm and 7.30pm.
Previous sessions were held in May and June.
All coaches, junior and senior, are welcome.
“Our aim is to help our young players to improve by raising the quality of the coaching they receive,” Herbert explained.
Juniors co-ordinator Tim Bailey said the sessions would provide a forum for all coaches to meet, discuss ideas and learn different techniques.
“In addition, from time to time, a coach from RHFA will come to one or two trainings throughout the year, and be on hand to observe and assist with a session if the coach is interested and willing,” Bailey said.
