Cambridge FC have re-opened its call for expressions of interest for a coach to join its first team coaching group for the 2019 season.
The Reds will be led by head coach Paul Richardson next season and he seeks an assistant coach to help him work with the club’s Lotto NRFL second division squad.
Ideally, the successful applicant will already have coaching experience and qualifications but the role also provides an opportunity to learn and develop in a supportive environment.
The club’s coach development programme is overseen by its Technical Director, former All Whites coach Ricki Herbert who holds a UEFA ‘A’ International Coaching Licence and a UEFA ‘Pro’ International Coaching Licence.
Cambridge returned to the Northern League last season after winning the WaiBOP Premiership in 2017.
The Reds consolidated their status in the regional league with a 7th placing, with Richardson taking over from retiring coach Mike Woodlock in mid-season.
Richardson says he is looking to improve the side’s standing in 2019 and now seeks an assistant who can help achieve that.
