Rugby parents debate whether young rep teams help or hinder development

The North Harbour Rugby Union has raised interesting issues about the value – or lack of value – in providing rep teams for players under the age of 14.

The union has scrapped their young rep sides, believing the rejection of players not selected is counter productive to the overall development of young players.
