Reserves squander second-half chances to lose 1-0 at Albany United

posted in: Men, News, Northern League

Cambridge FC’s reserves had plenty of chances to score but fell to a single goal by Albany United in their Lotto NRFL second division reserves fixture.

The Reds fell behind in the first half at Rosedale Park and that’s how the score remained at full time.

The loss leaves Cambridge in the lower half of the table after seven rounds of competition.

Next weekend (May 11), the reserves do not have a fixture as the men’s first team are scheduled to play in the ISPS Handa Chatham Cup first round, meaning the planned Northern League double header against Onehunga Mangere United will be re-scheduled.
