What’s in store this weekend for our senior and youth teams

There’s only one game at John Kerkhof Park this weekend – but it’s a big one!

On Saturday, the Reds face top Auckland club Glenfield Rovers in the second round of the ISPS Handa Chatham Cup.

The match kicks off at the earlier-than-usual time of 2pm (to allow for extra time and penalties, if required).

Cambridge squad named for the cup tie:

Here’s where our senior and youth teams are playing this weekend:

WaiBOP Championship

Cambridge’s championship side head to Otumoetai for a 12.30pm kick-off. The side will look to bounce back from last weekend’s 5-2 defeat at Taupo.

Waikato Division 3

Cambridge D1s and Melville United have agreed to postpone their fixture scheduled for this weekend. A new date will be scheduled soon with the game possibly played under lights at Melville.

Waikato Division 4

The D2s are also on the road, scheduled to play at Hamilton’s Discovery Park against Northern United’s Gaffers. The game starts at 2.45pm.

Sunday – Women’s Waikato Division 1

Women’s football takes a break over the long weekend.

Sunday – WaiBOP Federation Youth/Junior Leagues

The Y-League and J-League competitions have a break over Queen’s Birthday Weekend.

Junior football

No junior football is scheduled for Saturday because of the long weekend.

Please be aware of the development taking place opposite our junior grounds in Vogel St. Contractors are likely to be moving heavy vehicles to and from the site and we ask our visitors to be careful when parking on the street or crossing the road to our club.

Please be aware our grounds and clubrooms are 100% smoke-free and council bylaws forbid visitors from bringing dogs to our grounds.

We ask visitors to not park in the carpark spaces marked reserved as these will be used by volunteers needing to work in our clubrooms (including caterers, bar, committee members). Thanks.
