We’re pleased to announce the winners in our July Photo of the Month competition, sponsored by Annette Breen of AB Insurance Advice.
We were looking for photographs of our youngest players showing them having FUN and involved in FRANTIC ACTION.
Our winners are:
FUN: ‘Tackling is fun’, by Deborah Hunter.
FRANTIC ACTION: ‘Nationwired Titans’, by Andy Lees.
Deborah and Andy both win $25 gift vouchers.
Andy said he took his winning with his mobile phone and just got lucky with the action he captured on camera.
Deborah is a keen photographer who said her motivation is taking photographs that please other parents of young players.
Their photographs, and others from July, go forward to our Photo of the Year award to be announced at our Junior Prizegiving on September 23.
How the competition works
Our Annette Breen Photo of the Month competition means photographers can win one of six $25 gift vouchers as prizes.
We’ll pick a winner in each category at the end of June, July and August — and we’ll then select the Annette Breen Photo of the Year award in September (with a yet-to-be revealed-prize) from all the entries we’ve received.
We’ll share our favourite photo’s at the club website so we can all enjoy watching our players in action and having fun.
Club sponsor Annette Breen, of AB Insurance, says she loves seeing photographs of Cambridge footballers giving their best so she’s got behind the competition and will help us name Photo of the Month winners for June, July and August.
It’s the second year Annette and the club has run this competition.
