Cambridge’s John Kerkhof Park will again host the finals of Waikato football’s biggest cup finals.
For the fourth time in six seasons, supporters of teams in the men’s and women’s Waikato Cup and Plate competitions will come to Cambridge for their big day out.
The men’s finals will be staged on Saturday August 24 with the women’s finals played a day later.
Between 800 and 1,000 spectators have attended previous WaiBOP Finals Days held at John Kerkhof Park.
The club hosted the finals of the men’s Waikato Cup and Plate in 2013, 2016 and 2017. It hosted the women’s Waikato Cup and Plate finals in 2016 and 2018.

2019 finals – men’s cup and plate
The Soccer Shop Waikato Cup Final will take place at 2.30pm on Saturday August 24 between Huntly Thistle A and Melville United Nobs.
In the early game, at 12.00-noon, Hamilton Wanderers’ Classics will meet Otorohanga Reserves in the Waikato Plate Final.
2019 finals – women’s cup and plate
The women’s finals on Sunday August 25 will see the Soccer Shop Waikato Plate contested at 11am, followed by the Soccer Shop Waikato Women’s Cup at 1.30pm.
The cup final will be between West Hamilton United and Tokoroa.
The plate finalists are Te Aroha Cobras and Otorohanga.
