Most of Cambridge FC’s senior and youth winter schedules draw to end this weekend but with a busy Saturday planned for John Kerkhof Park.
Here’s who and where our senior and youth teams are playing this weekend:
Lotto NRFL second division
The Reds play their last game of the 2019 Lotto NRFL schedule – but there’s plenty riding on it.
Visitors to John Kerkhof Park are second placed Metro FC who need a win to ensure promotion to the Northern League’s first division.
It ensures a tense finale to the Reds’ season, while in the curtain-raiser Cambridge reserves coach Mike Taylor is itching for a good result against his former club to cap a much-improved run of form by his team.
The main game is at 3pm while the clubs’ reserves team play the curtain-raiser at 12.30pm.
Cambridge play their penultimate fixture at Papamoa, kicking off at 1pm.
The team will be looking to end their run of four losses.
Waikato Division 3
Cambridge D1s host Melville United Old Boys at John Kerkhof Park. The game starts at the re-arranged time of 1.15pm.
Waikato Division 4
The D2s play Claudelands Rovers Newbies at John Kerkhof Park, with a 12.30pm kick off.
Sunday – Women’s Waikato Division 1
Cambridge play Melville United’s Development squad at John Kerkhof Park (11am).
Sunday – WaiBOP Federation Youth/Junior Leagues
The Cambridge U-12s travel to Taupo’s Crown Park for their fixture in the WaiBOP Federation J-League, kicking off at 10.30am.
The U-13s do not have a fixture.
Please be aware of the development taking place opposite our junior grounds in Vogel St. Contractors are likely to be moving heavy vehicles to and from the site and we ask our visitors to be careful when parking on the street or crossing the road to our club.
Notice to visitors
Please be aware our grounds and clubrooms are 100% smoke-free and council bylaws forbid visitors from bringing dogs to our grounds.
We ask visitors to not park in the carpark spaces marked reserved as these will be used by volunteers needing to work in our clubrooms (including caterers, bar, committee members). Thanks.
