Cambridge FC head coach Paul Richardson is already planning for the 2020 season after building a strong platform this year to help the Reds improve.
Reviewing the Northern League season just finished, Richardson said he was pleased his team was always “at the business end” of the competition this year after battling against the threat of relegation last year.
He said a positive from 2019 had been his team’s excellent form on the road where the Reds won seven of their 11 away matches.
Richardson said it was important to improve the home form next season and also to build more depth for the middle months of the season when injuries and suspensions tended to weaken teams.
