Expressions of interest sought from coaches for next year

posted in: Men, News, Volunteers, Women

Expressions of interest are sought for senior coaching and team management roles at Cambridge FC for next season.

These are for all senior men’s and women’s teams except for the club’s first team which plays in the Lotto NRFL second division.

Head coach Paul Richardson returns for his third season at the club, and the club has re-appointed assistant coaches Richard Wade and Blair Hoad, and goalkeeper coach Kim Brierley.

Other teams are subject to review and coaches/managers who want to join a progressive club with a strong support system are encouraged to send us their expressions of interest.

The club’s Technical Director, Ricki Herbert, will assess applications and make recommendations to the incoming executive committee after members have been elected at the AGM on November 6, 2019.

Through Ricki Herbert, the club is putting in place a top-to-bottom coaching support structure and has a senior coaching group overseen by him.

To make your interest known, please email Cambridge Football Club.

Please provide your football CV and/or information that will help our assessment process.

No deadline has been set for those expressing interest in coaching or managing junior and youth teams for next year but the club invites early indications from those who wish to be involved.

The appointment process for senior, youth and junior roles is:

* Our club’s Technical Director, Ricki Herbert, will receive the expressions of interest.
* He will seek appropriate input from others at the club.
* Ricki will make recommendations to the club committee who will confirm all appointments.
