Cambridge’s WaiBOP Championship team will start their 2020 season with a string of three games against sides from the Bay of Plenty.

Five Bay clubs and seven Waikato sides go into the new season which starts for Cambridge with a home match against Te Puke United on Saturday March 28.

That game is likely to provide Cambridge supporters with their first taste of winter football at John Kerkhof Park this season as the Reds are expected to be on the road for their opening round of Northern League fixtures the same day.

Cambridge finished 8th in the 2019 WaiBOP Championship and will be led this year by coach Steve Thomas.
