Trillian Trust gets behind club with grant to buy 100 balls for junior players

Junior footballers at Cambridge FC are to benefit from a much-appreciated grant from the Trillian Trust to buy 100 balls for the upcoming 2020 season.

The trust has approved a grant to our club for $4,870 to help replace ageing balls as the number of our young players reaches record numbers, with more than 500 junior and youth players expected to register this year.

The grant also helped to purchase eight ball bags, eight kit bags, 10 first aid kits and 11 full-sized balls for use by senior teams.

The grant helps Cambridge FC to finding the $200,000 annual running costs of providing more than 700 adult and junior players with organised winter football. We also provide 350 men, women and young adults with the chance to participate in our annual Cambridge Summer League 5-a-side competition.

Trillian Trust gaming venues in Cambridge include the Turf Bar in Commerce St, and the Prince Albert Tavern, in Victoria St.

Our club is extremely grateful and thanks the trust for its support.
