Here’s your chance to play for our women’s team in the 2020 season

Cambridge FC invites interest from women keen to play for the club in this year’s Waikato football league.

The club is a strong supporter of women’s football and is building a development pathway from our junior ranks – where dozens of young women and girls are learning the game – to our women’s first team.

Newly-appointed coach Jamie McKean says new and returning players are invited to attend weekly training on Wednesday evenings, from 6pm till 8pm when preseason training resumes after restrictions are lifted to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Training is held at John Kerkhof Park, Vogel St, Cambridge.

McKean replaces Andrew Taylor who has stepped down after several years as women’s coach at Cambridge.

Assistant coach will be Steve Barrott while the team manager is Chloe Barrott.
