Cambridge to play five more rounds in WaiBOP Championship group split

The 2020 WaiBOP Championship has split into two groups of six teams with Cambridge facing five more matches this season.

As the competition splits into two, Cambridge begins the second stage with a home game against Te Puke United on Saturday (September 5).

Cambridge narrowly missed a spot in the top group of six when Whakatane Town beat Hamilton Wanderers 2-0 last weekend to edge into the group.

Seventh-placed Cambridge now face Te Puke United (8th), Tauranga City (9th), Tauranga Old Blues (10th), Hamilton Wanderers (11th) and Waikato Unicol (12th).
