Cambridge has another footballer heading to the United States to further their sporting career.

Jack O’Leary (18), who developed through Cambridge FC’s youth teams and into senior football, has become the fifth club player to sign a scholarship with the Murray State College’s Aggies.

The Aggies play in the NCAA Division 3 and provide the New Zealand players to combine football and education in Oklahoma.

Other Cambridge players to head to Oklahoma are Josh Clark, Matt Wheeler, Cameron Horsfall and Kyle Wisnewski.

Clark (21) has since moved from the Aggies to join the William Woods University’s Owls in Missouri, while Wheeler (20) has signed for the Urbana University’s Blue Knights in Ohio.

Goalkeeper Horsfall and midfielder Wisnewski are in their second year with the Aggies.
