Goalkeeper reaches milestone with 100th appearance

Cambridge women’s goalkeeper Jen ‘Stoney’ Hull has reached a special milestone when she played her 100th game for the club’s first team.

Having joined the club in early 2012 from Matamata Swifts, Hull stepped into the goalkeeper role at short notice in a pre-season game, performing so well she has retained the gloves since.

In five seasons – including three Waikato Cup finals and a Plate final – she has missed only four matches.

Fittingly, she reached her century of appearances against her old club when Cambridge and Swifts met in the Waikato A division at John Kerkhof Park.

Congratulations, Stoney!
