Cambridge have set new goalscoring standards for the club this year with an impressive 105 goals scored in top level competitions.

The four goals against Beachlands Maraetai in the first leg of the Northern League promotion play-off series further boosted the team’s outstanding performance this season.

The tally is the first team’s best in at least 20 years, and possibly is an all-time record.

The goals have been scored in 25 competitive matches this season and the team has not failed to find the net in any of those games.

The Reds scored 94 goals in their title-winning Loaded WaiBOP Premiership campaign and six more in their two rounds of the ISPS Handa Chatham Cup.

Leading scorer Donovan ‘DJ’ Latham is responsible for almost a quarter of the side’s goals and is one of four players to reach double figures this year.

Seventeen players have scored for the Reds.
