Your chance to give back to your community

posted in: Community, Volunteers

Cambridge FC invites interest from members of the local community who want to help our club.

To become a volunteer, you do not need to be a club member or even have a connection with our sport.

You might be a retiree with underused skills you would like to put to good use, or a school leaver seeking work experience. Or you might just want to help put something back into the Cambridge community.

It’s a chance to help a community-focused club, using your skills, experience and enthusiasm.

Cambridge FC provides the chance for 800+ men, women and children (from 4-64) to enjoy football, adopt a healthy lifestyle and to build friendships.

Our members and supporters contribute more than 30,000 hours a year of volunteer work* and we’re looking for more to help spread the load. Specifically, we’re looking for volunteers who can help with:

  • Admin work
  • Grounds and building maintenance
  • Event support
  • Catering/kitchen work

We also need a couple of volunteers to help run our junior shop on Saturday mornings.

Or you can nominate your area of expertise and we’ll match you with our needs.

Many of our volunteers gain satisfaction from their work and we look forward to expanding our team.
