What’s in store for our teams this weekend

Northern League football returns to John Kerkhof Park again this weekend with the double header between Cambridge and Auckland’s Metro FC.

Metro, formed in 1899, is one of New Zealand’s oldest football clubs and their visit is sure to provide spectators with some thrilling football.

Cambridge reserves, who are top of their competition, kick off against the Metro reserves at 12.30pm on Saturday.

Then the two first teams go head-to-head at 3pm with third-placed Cambridge eager to stay among the Lotto NRFL division two leaders.

Saturday’s match sponsors are Onyx Cambridge.
