John Kerkhof Park will again be buzzing on Saturday as three senior men’s teams line up for matches.

We host another Northern League double header and the Cambridge D2s start their Waikato Cup campaign.

Lotto NRFL

The Reds play in-form Auckland side Bucklands Beach who, like Cambridge, are in this year’s Northern League second division having won promotion last year.

Bucklands Beach topped the AFF/NFF Conference last season and won automatic promotion while Cambridge had to go up via a promotion play-off series against Conference runners-up Beachlands Maraetai.

The main game kicks off at 3pm while the clubs’ reserves teams play the early game at 12.30pm.

Meal of the Week

Our club catering manager Michaela McQuarters is opting for a poultry dish this week. Her Saturday meals prepared for the visiting teams will be chicken fricassee cooked with fresh tarragon leaves and thyme, served with salad and carrots.

If you wish to help Michaela in the kitchen during the season, click here for more information.

Good luck to all our teams, players and supporters – please check our website over the weekend for updates on results.
