Craig Clark – our second Volunteer of the Week award winner

posted in: Men, News, Sponsors, Volunteers

For some, the football season has barely started. For Cambridge FC’s facilities manager Craig Clark, the season never stops!

With our club moving to an all-year operation in recent years, Clark has been a key member of our club’s volunteer army, ensuring the buildings and pitches remain ready for action.

He becomes the second winner in our Onyx-sponsored Volunteer of the Week award.

Already this year, Craig Clark has overseen critical repairs to the floodlights at the senior grounds, dealt with a flood in the clubrooms and ensured new signage has been put in place.

He receives a $50 voucher from our partner Onyx Cambridge.

Cambridge’s favourite eatery will help celebrate our deserving volunteers with a weekly prize of a $50 voucher to spend at Onyx Cambridge in Alpha St.

The award is a terrific way for us to celebrate those who keep our club running all year and to show them what Onyx Cambridge offers its customers.

In all, 20 volunteers will benefit through the season and we’re now seeking nominations for worthy recipients.

How to nominate our next award winner

Please email Volunteer of the Week nominations and tell us who you think deserves to receive one of our weekly awards, and the reasons why.

Of our 800+ members, parents/guardians and supporters, more than 100 contribute unpaid work to keep our club running.

If you want to join our volunteers, please email volunteer army and let us know how you can help.

Onyx Cambridge are in their third year as a club partner and their backing has benefitted all sections of the club.
