Weekend round-up: How our senior and youth teams fared

Veteran Dave O’Donnell took the club’s goalscoring honours this weekend with a hat-trick all scored from headers in Cambridge D1’s 5-1 win against Waikato Unicol.

O’Donnell, who was the team’s top goalscorer last season, spearheaded a fine performance from the D1s.

The home side went 2-0 by half-time and then pressed home their superiority in the second half to end the match 5-1.

Other goals were scored by Scott Jenkins (penalty) and Tony Dikmans.
