What’s in store for our teams this weekend

Cambridge face their biggest challenge of the Northern League season so far with the visit on Saturday of table-topping Takapuna AFC.

Spectators are promised a double header of top Lotto NRFL second division football at John Kerkhof Park.

The Reds reserves, who lead their competition, face third-placed Takapuna in a match that could have a significant influence on the standings at season’s ends. The reserves’ game kicks off at 12.30pm.

At 3pm, Cambridge face division leaders Takapuna in the main game, with the Reds looking to find their first win for new coach Paul Richardson after two fighting draws in May.
