What’s in store for our teams this weekend

Cambridge’s Waikato A team and the club’s two D teams provide home spectators with their Saturday action at John Kerkhof Park.

Lotto NRFL second division

The men’s first team and reserves head to South Auckland for a Northern League double header against Papakura City at McLennan Park.

The reserves game kicks off at 12.30pm while the Lotto NRFL second division match starts at 3pm.

If you wish to travel to support the Reds, here’s how to get to McLennan Park:

Loaded WaiBOP Championship

Cambridge travel over the Kaimai Ranges to play Tauranga Blue Rovers at Pemberton Park. The match kicks off at 12.30pm.

Waikato A

The A team host Te Aroha Cobras at John Kerkhof Park, starting at 2.45pm. Don’t be surprised if there’s a swag of goals as the A team have won 3-2 and 5-4 in their last two games.

Waikato D

The D1 and D2 teams will play each other in a re-arranged league match today. These inter-club matches usually provide plenty of excitement (and a good deal of post-match banter in the clubrooms afterwards). The game starts at 12.30pm.

Sunday: Waikato Women’s A

Our women’s team are at home against West Hamilton United and looking for their seventh win in a row. The match starts at 11am.

Sunday: Youth League

Cambridge U-13 boys travel to Hamilton Wanderers’ Raymond Park, kicking off at 11.20am in the WaiBOP Federation Youth League. Click here for progress report on the team’s efforts this season.

The boys U-12 side are at home in the WaiBOP Federation Junior Boys’ League, hosting Hamilton Wanderers in a 10am match.
