Cambridge’s John Kerkhof Park will be busy this weekend with four matches planned for Saturday and a home game for our women on Sunday.
Here’s the weekend line-up of action:
Lotto NRFL second division
Cambridge’s first team play in Saturday’s main game at John Kerkhof Park against Albany United with a 3pm kick off.
The reserves match was called off late on Friday after Albany United defaulted the match.
Loaded WaiBOP Championship
The championship squad host Matamata Swifts in a 2.45pm fixture that will give both teams the chance to clear the foot of the table.
Cambridge have no fixture this weekend.
The D1 side continue their quest for the divisional title with a home match against Northern United Gaffers who were beaten 5-1 last weekend by our D2 side.
The D2s host West Hamilton United.
Both division D games are scheduled for 12.30pm starts.
Sunday: Waikato Women’s A League
Cambridge’s women host Hamilton Wanderers on Sunday, kicking off at 11am at John Kerkhof Park. A win will keep Cambridge in contention for the Waikato Women’s A league title.
Youth and junior football
Our U-13 boys’ team heads to Papamoa on Sunday for an 11.20am game in the WaiBOP Federation Youth League.
The U-12 boys and all junior teams have the weekend off due to the school holidays.
