What’s in store for our teams this weekend

Cambridge’s John Kerkhof Park will host some crucial games this Saturday with five men’s teams all playing at home.

Here’s the weekend line-up of action:

Lotto NRFL second division

Cambridge’s first team play in Saturday’s main game at John Kerkhof Park against Franklin United with a 3pm kick off.

The match is the Reds’ last home fixture of the Northern League season and a win would lift Cambridge from second-bottom and into mid-table of a division that has become extremely tight.

The reserves host Franklin United’s second string at 12.30pm and a win will ensure the Reds stay at the top of their reserves competition.

Social night

Don’t forget our U-19 squad are hosting a karaoke night at the senior clubrooms from 8pm on Saturday. It’s $10 a ticket, loads of fun and will help the squad raise the funds needed to play at this year’s National U-19 Youth Tournament in Napier.
