Club makes statement on decision not to appeal Lotto NRFL ruling

Cambridge FC has decided not to appeal the Lotto NRFL decision to dock the club a league point.

The club fielded player Jamie Woodlock in the match against Papakura City in good faith. Information in the COMET database led to confusion and the NRFL has since taken steps to improve the functionality of the system.

Papakura’s protest was at first dismissed by the NRFL but that decision was later overturned.

Our club is satisfied that all parties have learned from the process and no purpose would be served by an appeal.
