After their success at last year’s Satellite Tournament, Cambridge’s U-19 face some of the country’s biggest clubs in the main draw at this month’s national youth tournament in Napier.
Cambridge have been drawn in Group D which contains last year’s overall winners, Ellerslie, as well as the youth team from ISPS Handa Chatham Cup winners Birkenhead United.
The other remaining group members are Auckland clubs Forest Hill Miford and Fencibles United, and leading Wellington outfit Petone.
The draw will provide a true test for Cambridge who won promotion to the main draw after winning the 2017 Satellite Tournament.
