Long-serving Harry Bomans has been co-opted as Cambridge FC’s senior captain for the 2019 season.
Bomans, who has contributed to the club as a player, coach, grounds manager and committee member, takes up the role which is a key link between the club’s executive committee and its senior coaches.
In 2018, he was co-winner (with Des Beeney) of the club’s Personality of the Year award and in 2015, Bomans was named Club Person of the Year.
