What’s in store for our senior men’s and women’s teams this weekend

Northern League football returns to John Kerkhof Park this weekend while one senior men’s team starts its Waikato Cup campaign.

Here’s a round-up of the weekend’s football:

Lotto NRFL second division

Can the Reds keep their unbeaten start to the season and stay top of the Lotto NRFL second division?

Our men’s first team host newly-promoted Unimount Bohemian Celtic in the Lotto NRFL main game, starting at 3pm.

The curtain-raiser sees the two clubs’ reserves sides meet with a 12.30pm kick off.

Saturday’s match sponsor is Onyx Cambridge.

WaiBOP Championship

Cambridge travel to Claudelands Rovers’ Galloway Park for a 2.45pm start.

Waikato Cup

The Cambridge D1s begin their Waikato Cup campaign with an away draw at Northern United where they meet old foes, the NUSC Deciles.

The match starts at 12.30pm.

Waikato Division 4

Cambridge D2s host Eastern City in a 12.30pm match at John Kerkhof Park.

Women’s Division 1

On Sunday, our women’s team resumes competition after a fortnight’s break with a trip to Tokoroa. The match kicks off at 11am.

Youth and Junior Federation Leagues

Our youth sides resume their Y-League and J-League competitions on Sunday May 5.
