Our main game at John Kerkhof Park on Saturday sees our WaiBOP Championship side in action while our women’s team play their first home game in three weeks on Sunday.
Here’s where our senior and youth teams are playing this weekend:
Lotto NRFL second division
The Reds’ next opponents are Albany United who play on Auckland’s North Shore.
The reserves kick off at Rosedale Park at 12.30pm on Saturday, followed by the main game at 3pm.
Cambridge go into the game in third place on the league table.
Here’s how to get to the game to support the Reds:
Cambridge’s championship side hosts Tauranga Blue Rovers at John Kerkhof Park on Saturday with a 2.45pm start.
Cambridge picked up their second win of their campaign last week, beating Claudelands Rovers 1-0.
Waikato Division 3
On Saturday, Cambridge D1s host Otorohanga Reserves at John Kerkhof Park. Kick off is at 12.30pm.
Waikato Division 4
The D2s travel to Tokoroa’s Strathmore Park for a 12.30pm match against Tokoroa Rezzienation.
Women’s Waikato Division 1
Our women’s team plays at home for the first time in three weeks, hosting Waikato Unicol on Sunday. Kick off is 11am.
WaiBOP Federation Youth/Junior Leagues
Both Cambridge’s youth/junior teams head to Hamilton on Sunday for matches against Claudelands Rovers.
The U-12 J-League side meets Rovers at Ashurst Park at 10am.
The U-13 Y-League team plays Rovers at Galloway Park at 11am.
More than 500 boys and girls will take to the pitches for the first time this season on Saturday with the opening day of junior football. We wish them all well.
Please be aware of the development taking place opposite our junior grounds in Vogel St. Contractors are likely to be moving heavy vehicles to and from the site and we ask our visitors to be careful when parking on the street or crossing the road to our club.
Notice to visitors
Please be aware our grounds and clubrooms are 100% smoke-free and council bylaws forbid visitors from bringing dogs to our grounds.
Our grounds will be particularly busy this weekend and we ask visitors to not park in the carpark spaces marked reserved as these will be used by volunteers needing to work in our clubrooms (including caterers, bar, committee members). Thanks.
