Cambridge FC’s senior teams face their longest away trips of the season this weekend with five sides on the road.
Here’s where our senior and youth teams are playing this weekend:
Lotto NRFL second division
The Reds face their biggest trek of the year with a 620km round-trip to Tikipunga, north of Whangarei for a double header against Northland FC.
The first and second teams head north on Friday and will stay overnight near the Tikipunga Park venue.
The reserves kick off at 12.30pm while the main game starts at 3pm.
First team squad for the match: Patrick Steele, Jack Portegys, Harry Wick, Kieran Hill (c), Daniel Clarkin, Dylan Blair, Callum MacLeod, Marcelo Sosa, Luke Stephenson, Josh Clarkin, Aaron Huesser. Subs: Patrick Espin (gk), Toby Hartley, Kyle Stead, Fabian Munoz, Mason Woodall.

Here’s how to get to the game to support the Reds at Tikipunga Park:
Cambridge’s championship side provides the only home match on Saturday, meeting Otorohanga at John Kerkhof Park with a 12.30pm start.
Waikato Division 3 / Waikato Plate
On Saturday, Cambridge D1s take a break from Waikato Division 3 to travel to Putaruru Rangers for a first round Waikato Plate fixture, starting at 12.30pm.
Waikato Division 4
The D2s head to Bremworth Park, Hamilton, for a 12.30pm match on Saturday against West Hamilton United.
Sunday – Women’s Waikato Cup
Our women’s team face a 190km round-trip to play Waihi FC in a first round cup tie at Morgan Park.
Cambridge were runners-up in the cup last season and have a good recent record in the knockout competitions,
They won the 2014 Waikato Cup and were beaten finalists in 2013, 2015 and 2018. The women were runners-up in the 2016 Waikato Plate.
Sunday – WaiBOP Federation Youth/Junior Leagues
Both Cambridge’s youth/junior teams are at home on Sunday.
The U-12 J-League side hosts Melville United U-12 at John Kerkhof Park, kicking off at 10am.
The U-13 Y-League team meets Northern United at the park, starting 11am.
