Four of Cambridge’s senior teams face local derby matches with Claudelands Rovers this weekend.

Here’s where our senior and youth teams are playing this weekend:

Lotto NRFL second division

The Reds play Claudelands Rovers with both teams keen to end three-match losing streaks and knowing the winner will remain part of the five-team pack chasing second division title honours.

The reserves play the early game, at 12.30pm, and the main game starts at 3pm.

Cambridge’s named squad for the main game is: 1. Fraser Nicholls, 8. Daniel Clarkin, 4. Patrick Woodlock, 5. Jack Portegys, 7. Kieran Hill (c), 3. Nathan Claridge, 12. Marcelo Sosa, 2. Levi Clark, 9. Zach Mayo, 17. Aaron Huesser, 15. Josh Clarkin, 16. Kyle Stead, 11. Callum Macleod, 10. Dylan Blair, 22. Patrick Espin.

WaiBOP Championship

Cambridge’s championship side ended their winless run with an emphatic 5-2 victory against Tokoroa last Saturday.

This weekend, they will test themselves against championship frontrunners Waikato Unicol.

The match kicks off at John Kerkhof Park at 2.45pm.

Waikato Division 3

Cambridge D1s host Claudelands Rovers Vets in a 12.30pm match at John Kerkhof Park.

Waikato Division 4

The D2s take on Claudelands Rovers Newbies at Galloway Park, starting at 2.30pm.

Sunday – Women’s Waikato Division 1

Cambridge host Otorohanga at John Kerkhof Park. The game starts at 11am.

Sunday – WaiBOP Federation Youth/Junior Leagues

The U-13s travel to Gower Park to play Melville United’s U-14 girls in the Y-League.

Our U-12s are at home to Otumoetai in the J-League.

Both matches kick off at 11am.

Please be aware of the development taking place opposite our junior grounds in Vogel St. Contractors are likely to be moving heavy vehicles to and from the site and we ask our visitors to be careful when parking on the street or crossing the road to our club.

Please be aware our grounds and clubrooms are 100% smoke-free and council bylaws forbid visitors from bringing dogs to our grounds.

We ask visitors to not park in the carpark spaces marked reserved as these will be used by volunteers needing to work in our clubrooms (including caterers, bar, committee members). Thanks.
