What’s in store for our senior and youth teams this weekend

Most of Cambridge FC’s senior and youth teams play away from home this weekend.

The Reds head to Auckland, again, to play Greenhithe Catimba in the Northern League while our women’s team go south to Tokoroa for a Waikato Women’s Cup tie on Sunday.

Here’s where our senior and youth teams are playing this weekend:

Lotto NRFL second division

The Reds will play a double header at North Harbour Stadium against newly promoted Greenhithe Catimba.

The main game is at 3pm while the clubs’ reserves team play the curtain-raiser at 12.30pm.

WaiBOP Championship

Cambridge’s championship squad go to Hamilton where they’ll play Wanderers in a 12.30pm match.

The team is unbeaten in four games, winning three before drawing 2-2 with Papamoa last weekend.

Waikato Division 3

Cambridge D1s are at home to Claudelands Rovers Pingers, kicking off at 12.30pm.

Waikato Division 4

The D2s are also at John Kerkhof Park, hosting Northern United’s Seniles in a 12.30pm game.

Sunday – Women’s Waikato Cup

Cambridge have defaulted their second-round cup tie at Tokoroa due to injuries and the unavailability of some players.

Sunday – WaiBOP Federation Youth/Junior Leagues

The U-13s host Blue Rovers, from Tauranga, in the Y-League. Kick off is 11am.

The U-12s play Hamilton Wanderers away, in the J-League. Kick off is 10am.


Please be aware of the development taking place opposite our junior grounds in Vogel St. Contractors are likely to be moving heavy vehicles to and from the site and we ask our visitors to be careful when parking on the street or crossing the road to our club.

Please be aware our grounds and clubrooms are 100% smoke-free and council bylaws forbid visitors from bringing dogs to our grounds.

We ask visitors to not park in the carpark spaces marked reserved as these will be used by volunteers needing to work in our clubrooms (including caterers, bar, committee members). Thanks.
