An own goal almost on the stroke of half-time was all that separated Cambridge’s Reserves in their Lotto NRFL match against fourth-placed Albany United.
The goal, when Jack Sickelmore put into his own net after 43 minutes, gave the visiting Aucklanders three points in an otherwise level encounter at John Kerkhof Park.
The result sees Cambridge stay in 10th spot on the second division reserves competition table.
The Reds reserves’ next game is on Saturday August 3 when the team travels to Onehunga Mangere in Auckland.
