What’s in store for spectators this weekend

posted in: News, Women

Though almost all of Cambridge FC’s winter programme is complete, football enthusiasts can still catch a couple of games this weekend.

Here’s what’s happening this weekend:

Men’s and youth football

All competition games for our senior men’s and youth teams have been completed.

Sunday – Women’s Waikato Division 1

Cambridge travel to Huntly Thistle on Sunday for the team’s final game of the season (11am kick off).

The teams played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in the reverse fixture earlier this year, suggesting Sunday’s game could be close.

Sunday – National Women’s League

John Kerkhof Park will host the first of six NWL matches on Sunday when Auckland visit to meet the best players in the Waikato/Bay of Plenty.

WaiBOP Football’s NWL squad are again basing themselves at Cambridge for the spring/summer competition.

Kick off on Sunday is 2pm.
