Saturday’s Northern League games postponed due to COVID-19 measures

This Saturday’s double header between Cambridge and UniMount Bohemian has been postponed in the wake of Auckland’s move to Alert Level 3 to combat the spread of COVID-19.

Though a decision to review alert levels was due to be made by the Government on Friday (August 13), the Lotto NRFL decided on Thursday to postpone Northern League games in Auckland and those that might require clubs to travel outside of Auckland.

This means the 3pm game between the Reds and UniMount Bohemian, and the 12.30pm reserves game, will be re-arranged for another date.

This could be September 5 which has been reserved by the NRFL as a catch-up date for postponed fixtures.

Cambridge’s next scheduled fixture is away to Auckland club Papatoetoe on Saturday August 22.
