The region in which Cambridge FC is located has returned to alert level 1 restrictions to combat the risk of COVID-19 infection.

Here’s what level 1 means for our club:

Training

Unless our grounds are closed, team training can proceed subject to national health guidelines for alert level 1.

Guidance

Our club’s policy is to adopt and adhere to guidelines issued by our national body, New Zealand Football. We will share information from NZF and our regional body, WaiBOP Football, via this website.

Contact tracing

Our club provides a choice of contact tracing systems – you can use either or both:

Scan the QR code poster for the government’s contact tracing app.

Log in to the web-based iDMe system used by NZ Football and clubs throughout the country.

To use the iDMe contact tracing system, in line with New Zealand Football guidelines for helping combat the risk of infection from COVID-19, we ask our members, players and visitors – including those from visiting clubs – to manually log-in using our unique venue code for John Kerkhof Park which is P-E-S-F-D.

Hygiene

Please wash your hands regularly, cough/sneeze into your elbow and try not to touch your face. Players should not share drink bottles and should avoid unnecessary contact such as handshakes, hugs, high fives etc.

If you feel unwell

If you or members of your household are unwell, you should stay at home. You must not participate in physical activity (or leave home) if you display symptoms of COVID-19 or are awaiting test results or have been required to self-isolate.
