What’s in store for our senior men’s teams this weekend

posted in: Men, News, Northern League

Two Cambridge teams are in action this weekend as senior men’s football starts to get underway for the 2021 winter season.

The Reds head to Auckland for their opening round of Northern League while home spectators get the chance to see Cambridge host Tauranga Old Blues at John Kerkhof Park.

Cambridge FC’s Technical Director Ricki Herbert (pictured) says he’s confident the club goes into the new season with a set of coaches and team managers all looking to help their teams perform to the best of their potential.

“I want to thank the coaches and players who have worked so hard in pre-season and who have been so patient over the past year when COVID has disrupted our ability to train and play as we would like.

“I wish all the teams the best of success for the season ahead – and go the Reds!”
