Cambridge women’s team player Georgia Bellamy-Hill has an extra challenge this winter – she’s going to help more than 60 young children take their first steps in football.

She’s been appointed to run the 2021 First Kicks programme at Cambridge, a weekly programme for children aged 4-5 who are having their first experiences with the sport.

Bellamy-Hill, photographed here with Cambridge FC’s Technical Director, Ricki Herbert, plays for the club’s women’s team in the Waikato Women’s Division 2.

Last season, she won the Player’s Player of the Year award for her efforts on the pitch.

First Kicks is held from 9am every Saturday morning (except for school holidays) during the winter football season and is designed to help children have fun, make friends and to start their football journey.

The first session for this year is on Saturday May 8.
