The 2021 race for the men’s Golden Boot is turning into one of the closest for many years with about nine players vying for goalscoring honours.

Josh Clarkin scored four goals for the Reds as the first team came from two goals down to beat Beachlands Maraetai 5-2.

Meanwhile, veteran forward David O’Donnell celebrated his birthday with a goal for the Over 35s D1 team in their 3-1 win against West Hamilton United.
