What’s in store for our senior teams this weekend

Most of Cambridge’s senior teams are on the road this weekend while the club’s youth teams have no fixtures due to the school holiday break.

Spectators have two senior games to watch at John Kerkhof Park – an over 35s men’s game on Saturday between Cambridge Team 2 and Northern United, while our women host Ngaruawahia United on Sunday.

Here’s how the weekend shapes up:

Saturday: Lotto NRFL second division

The Reds travel to Hamilton’s Galloway Park for a double header against local derby rivals Claudelands Rovers.

The U-23s from both clubs meet at 12.30pm and then the Reds will meet Rovers in the main game, starting at 3pm.

Saturday: WaiBOP Championship

Cambridge play Ngaruawahia United at Centennial Park (12.30pm).

Saturday: Waikato Division 1

Cambridge head to Hamilton’s Weka Street to play West Hamilton United. The game kicks off at 12.30pm.

Saturday: Waikato Division 4

Cambridge travel to Morrinsville where they play at the Recreation Ground (12.30pm).

Saturday: Over 35s

Cambridge’s D1 team have a bye this weekend while the over 35s Team 2 are at home to Northern United Gaffers (2.45pm).

Sunday: Waikato Women’s Division 2

Cambridge host Ngaruawahia United at John Kerkhof Park (11am).

WaiBOP Y-League

None of our youth teams have fixtures this weekend, due to the school holidays.

College football

Cambridge High School’s boys’ first XI have no fixture this weekend.

CHS will play some home games under floodlights on Friday nights at John Kerkhof Park this season – please check this website for updates.

Notice to visitors

Please be aware our grounds and clubrooms are 100% smoke-free and council bylaws forbid visitors from bringing dogs to our grounds.

We ask visitors to not park in the car park spaces marked reserved as these will be used by volunteers needing to work in our clubrooms (including caterers, bar, committee members). Thanks.
