Reds stay in top Lotto NRFL cluster as results go in their favour

Cambridge’s push to join the Lotto NRFL second division promotion race got a boost from Round 15 results, despite the weather forcing the Reds to postpone their Waikato derby against Claudelands Rovers.

The derby was the only match called off due to torrential rain but other results went in favour of Cambridge who remain in fourth place on the table.

The Reds now have a game in hand over the three sides above them, two of which lost their Round 15 games.

The Reds’ next fixture is at home to second-bottom Papatoetoe on Saturday July 24 (3pm).
