The Hill family shared the goalscoring bragging rights at the weekend with husband Chris and wife Rachel both scoring twice for their Cambridge teams.

Chris Hill (pictured), Shane Gray and Andrew Myers are all among the leaders in the men’s Golden Boot table with all three getting on the scoresheet in their side’s 5-2 win against Matamata Swifts.

Hill scored from the penalty spot and from long range.

Rachel Hill grabbed a double in the first half of the Cambridge women’s game on Sunday, helping her side to a 3-2 win.

Meanwhile, four players scored their first goals of the season at the weekend – William Jackson (U-23s), Sam Garmonsway (WaiBOP Championship), Nicolas Simonunnci (Division 4) and Greg Burns (over 35s, D1s).
