Grounds re-open but coaches asked to protect pitches at training

posted in: Juniors, Men, News, Women, Youth

Wednesday July 28, 2021, 1pm: Cambridge FC’s junior and senior grounds have re-opened for training.

However, coaches are asked to help protect pitch surfaces from damage by:

  • Avoiding wet areas such as goalmouths.
  • Not using repetitive drills on the same areas of pitch.
  • Using training areas, rather than pitches, when possible.

Players should also be careful if using our grass car parks.

Please check this website for updates on our grounds.

Contact tracing

Our club offers two options for contact tracing. Please use either the iDME system or scan the government QR codes on display. Use either or both to ensure we can track visitors to our grounds.

Our club uses the iDMe contact tracing system in line with New Zealand Football guidelines to combat the risk of infection from COVID-19. We ask all our members, players and visitors – including those from visiting clubs – to manually log-in using our unique venue code for John Kerkhof Park which is P-E-S-F-D.
