The region in which Cambridge FC is located has moved to Alert Level 2 from 11.59m on Tuesday September 7, 2021.
Our club must work within guidelines for level 2 Delta which means:
Unless our grounds are closed, team training can proceed subject to the NZ Football guidelines for level 2.
Our club’s policy is to adopt and adhere to guidelines issued by our national body, New Zealand Football. We will share information from NZF and our regional body, WaiBOP Football, via this website.
These include training sessions and matches.
Level 2 guidelines restrict gatherings to a maximum of 100.
No group of players training should exceed 100 and groups should not mingle.
Any game can be watched by no more than 100 on the sidelines (a gathering does include players, officials and coaching group).
Spectators should not mingle with those attending games at adjacent pitches, under the guidelines, and spectators should maintain physical distancing of at least two metres.
It is mandatory for any people over the age of 12, who are users of our grounds to use the Government Covid Tracer App, if you are unable to use the app, you need to advise your coach and they will advise the club captain so that your attendance is recorded.
QR Codes are positioned around the club in prominent positions
The clubrooms and changing rooms will remain closed for the duration of Level 2, please arrive ready to play/train in your Kit, minimising the need to use any facilities
Distancing of 2-metres should be maintained where possible. It is recognised that contact during physical activity will occur but this should be minimised.
Please wash your hands regularly, cough/sneeze into your elbow and try not to touch your face. Players should not share drink bottles and should avoid unnecessary contact such as handshakes, hugs, high fives etc.
If you feel unwell
If you or members of your household are unwell, you should stay at home. You must not participate in physical activity (or leave home) if you display symptoms of COVID-19 or are awaiting test results or have been required to self-isolate.
