This season all teams 9th Grade and above will be recieving a pack of 14 Player of the Day Ribbons for their team, PLUS they also get to choose a POD for the OPPOSTION, promoting fair play & Positive Vibes!

Its sometimes very easy to get caught up in the game, but if you watch a little closer you will see some awesome examples of kids helping each other out -  holding a hand out to their opposition to help them up after a tackle, giving encouragement to team mates, taking the chance to pass to a team mate instead of trying to beat the whole team themselves, maybe someone thats taken the advice or the coach on board from trainign or the week before - POD is about so much more than only goals scored.

We want to celebrate not only OUR kids, OUR club - but the opposition team as well, without them there is no game after all! After the game, gather your team & ask THEM who do they think deserves it for the oppositoin....then select a few kids or the whole team walks over to present it.  Tell them why, and come back feeling good that you made another player's day!

(And dont worry 7th & 8th Grade - you will get a certificate &  POD Trophy in your bags so you can choose a POD for your team each saturday, & a spare certificate to present to your opposition as well.
